F$%* Off 2017

Oh hi! I hope you all had a warm and lovely holiday with your loved ones. I still can’t believe that we got snow in Portland on Christmas Eve! It was short lived, thank goodness, but this snow business is really trying to make itself a regular occurrence around here and I’m not sure how I feel about it. I will say, it was pretty awesome to walk the streets of my new neighborhood and watch the snow fall. P.S. the new place is still rocking my world and I’ve gotten a lot more settled in, I still need some things put up on my walls but I’m getting there!

I haven’t been the best about consistently posting but I’m hoping to get back into my groove come 2018. This last week has been a great time of reflection and figuring out what my priorities are. There has been a lot of new and change, but I’m finally starting to get my feet back under me and refocus.

I haven’t made any official resolutions this year, but my main goal is going to be getting to know myself and doing what makes me happy. Sometimes we get caught up in the everyday and forget to do the things that bring us the most joy. That’s OK and real and part of life, but my hope for this year is that I start listening more to myself and what I want and not holding back.

2017 was about getting rid of the toxic and opening up to new and better and more fulfilling relationships and experiences. I think a lot of us are over 2017 and are looking forward to a fresh start in the new year. So let’s do it! This past year has brought us lessons and another year full of memories. We are fortunate to have had another year together, but I’m ready to move on 🙂

Sending you all a big squeeze, thank you for stopping by and helping me keep my head up. The outpouring of support I received this year will not quickly be forgotten and I’m incredibly lucky to know you. I hope you all have a safe and happy New Year and I’ll catch you on the flippity flip.
